From the Principal

WELCOME BACK STUDENTS, PARENTS, & STAFF: By way of introduction, my name is Steve Steadham and I will be your interim high school principal. I have been a professional educator and principal for nearly 40 years; and I am both pleased and honored to have the privilege of being a part of Lone Oak High School and the community of Lone Oak. Lisa Brannon, a veteran Lone Oak teacher, will take over as our full-time High School Assistant Principal. We will strive to offer the academic structure and rigor to ensure success for all our students. We are also dedicated to working "with" parents to create the best educational plan for all our young men and women. It is our goal that "the Lone Oak experience" has relevance which gives each student the opportunity to become a productive and confident individual, ready to take on whatever the world has to offer. Our administrative team, along with the high school staff, is looking forward to a challenging academic season, as well as an exciting sports season. I invite you to visit our school and become an active part of our Lone Oak High School family. I am always available to visit with students or parents and I can be reached at ssteadham@loisd.net or at 903.662.5151 ext. 2221. GO BUFFS!
